Rustic Ravines, West Virginia’s premier log cabin resort, is now part of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System for riders of full-sized, off-road vehicles like Jeeps and land cruisers along with ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes. Besides renting ATVs, Rustic Ravines also offers guided tours of the new 100-mile Cabwaylingo Trail as well as all surrounding outlaw trails in the area. Ask about our guided tours.
Annual passes for the Hatfield-McCoy Trail can be purchased at our Welcome Center for $26.50 for West Virginia residents and $50 for out-of-state guests from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10-4 on Saturday and 11-3 Sunday. Rustic Ravines is located 25 minutes from the Cabwaylingo State Forest and the trail. We provide trail riders with a map and a GPS route that takes them from our driveway — using a series of connector trails and country roads — to the main trailhead.
The Cabwaylingo Trail is the first in the Hatfield-McCoy System to be located within a state forest. Created as an initiative of the West Virginia Legislature, the new trail represents a unique partnership between West Virginia’s State Parks and the Hatfield-McCoy Trails.
The Hatfield-McCoy Trail System consists of more than 800 miles of trails located in the mountains of southern West Virginia, many of which connect to ATV friendly areas where visitors can grab a bite to eat and experience true Southern hospitality. It is one of the largest off-highway vehicle trail systems in the world.
Cabin rentals are offered year-round at Rustic Ravines, including novel lodging in “Yurts” and Amish-build log cabins. We also host special entertainment events each month and a high-altitude zipline that whisks visitors across our scenic valley at over 70 mph.
Coming soon to Rustic Ravines is a new 25-slip ATV/RV Park with water and electronic hook-ups as well as a men’s and women’s shower/bathhouse, a playground and basketball court.
