The “Big Zipper” zipline at Rustic Ravines is a major outdoor attraction in Wayne County, West Virginia. Painstakingly constructed over two years, it is pound for pound one of the best-built, strongest and safest ziplines in the world with a 5x-plus safety factor on all components.

The extremely strong and smooth half-inch stainless steel cable stretches across the Rustic Ravines valley a half-mile between two mountain ridges. The zipline cable is approximately 400 feet above the valley floor, and riders can reach speeds upwards of 75 mph! For thrill seekers, riding a zipline is one of the safest adrenaline rushes around and a must to try if you like ziplining and adventure.

The Big Zipper is normally open on Saturdays by reservation from noon to dusk, weather permitting.  The zipline is priced “per zip.” We charge $59 for one zip and $99 for two zips. You must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100 to 300 pounds to ride The Big Zipper.

For larger groups, you can rent the zipline for the day for private parties, team building functions or special occasions. We provide unlimited ziplining for a private group for 8 hours for $800. 

And when your group is finished zipping the ravines, you can enjoy a private party afterwards at our Trailhead Brewing Co. Grille & Bar. We have large 16-inch pizzas available for $20 (any toppings), deep fried (24 count) Buffalo wing baskets (with any sauces) for $29, and cold drinks for $2.50 each.
