Rustic Ravines borders a small river named Twelve Pole and, when conditions are right, it’s an ideal canoeing and kayaking spot. We can also direct you to other areas of Twelve Pole where kayakers and canoers have enjoyed good runs up near Wayne, West Virginia. Also nearby is a new spot along the Tug River as part of Fort Gay, West Virginia’s downtown riverfront revitalization project.

East Lynn Lake, about 20 minutes from our resort, offers a first-class marina and boating in a thousand acres of open water. Beech Fork State Park and Yatesville Lake State Park in Louisa, Ky., are two other exceptional boating options also within a 20-minute drive of Rustic Ravines.
