GENOA, W.Va. — A local outdoor getaway spot is adding a bow range to the roster of activities available at the site this week.

Rustic Ravines, located at 2575 Hampton Ridge Road, Genoa, will open its 3D bow range Tuesday (Oct. 3) for the 2017 season.

“We are excited about it,” Rustic Ravines co-developer Joe Boffo said.

The range will include 22 targets and will feature the opportunity to take down deer, bear, hogs and other small animal practice targets.

Bow hunter Kim Rowe got a sneak peak of the range and said it looks nice.

“These guys have done an awesome job on the bow range — I love it and I know you guys will too,” she said.

As an opening day special offer, all long bow and compound bow enthusiasts will get the opportunity to shoot one round at the course for $15 and an additional round will only cost $5 — a $10 discount.

Guns are not permitted on the range, but Boffo said a shooting area could be in the future plans for the Rustic Ravines.
